How would you describe what you do?

“HMH Piano Collective provides elegant, bespoke live piano music for wedding ceremonies and daytime celebrations. We specialise in creating emotionally led moments where music enhances the atmosphere without overpowering it.

What really draws us to venues like The Granary Estates is the way each space has its own character and flow. Our setup is fully portable and visually refined, allowing us to adapt easily to different areas of the venue, whether that’s an intimate ceremony space or an outdoor drinks reception setting. Our approach is always collaborative, working closely with couples (and venues) to ensure the music complements both the setting and the feel of the day.”

If you had to pick a few key words to describe what you do, what would they be?

“We are bespoke, elegant, emotion-led, highly personal, ceremony specialists.”

What is your signature style

“At HMH Piano Collective, our signature lies in how intentionally we approach wedding music, particularly the ceremony. We believe music is never just background; it’s emotional architecture. It shapes how a moment feels, how it’s remembered, and how couples relive their wedding day years later.

Rather than offering a one-size-fits-all playlist, we work closely with each couple to craft music that feel personal and authentic to them. From the first enquiry, Hannah guides couples through their music choices with care and clarity, helping them choose pieces that reflect their story while also enhancing the atmosphere of their venue.

Our signature service, The Aisle Experience™️, perfectly encapsulates this approach. It centres around the bridal entrance - a moment filled with anticipation and emotion - and transforms it into something you will remember forever. Couples receive a bespoke piano arrangement of their chosen piece, expertly timed and choreographed, along with a sample recording ahead of the wedding so they know exactly what to expect. This level of preparation allows couples to feel calm, confident, and fully present on the day.

Visually, we complement this experience with our beautiful grand piano shell setup, which looks just like a real baby grand piano and elevates the aesthetic of the space. Combined with our handpicked team of highly experienced professional pianists, the result is a seamless experience that feels luxurious yet relaxed; never showy, always thoughtful, and fully personalised.”

What do you love most about working with The Granary Estates?

“I’ve always been struck by how welcoming and organised the team are. Every interaction has felt warm and professional, which makes such a difference for suppliers. I also love the layout of the venue: each space feels distinct, with its own atmosphere, which is really inspiring from a musical point of view.”

Are there any trends you are loving at the moment?

“I love the trend of having the bridal party walk in to one piece of music, and then changing to a different song for the bride’s entrance. That shift in music creates a real emotional lift; it’s often a goosebump moment and makes the bride’s entrance feel really special and distinct.“

What are your top tips for couples planning their wedding?

  • “Choose music that makes you feel something, not just what you think you “should” have.

  • Think about transitions: entrances, exits, and key moments are where live music really shines.

  • Don’t be afraid to personalise your ceremony music; those choices are often what guests remember most.“
