Celebrating 1,000 weddings at The Granary Estates

This June, we reached a milestone that still feels a little surreal, our 1,000th wedding. A thousand couples have chosen The Granary Estates as the backdrop to their wedding day. That’s a thousand unique days, countless beautiful memories, and an incredible journey for our team and venue.

When we opened our doors back in 2013, our goal was simple: to create a space filled with love and celebration. What began as a diversification idea to add to the working farm quickly became something far bigger than we imagined.

We’ve watched trends come and go, built new spaces, introduced on-site accommodation, and worked through highs (and a few lows) side by side with the most dedicated team. Each step has been fuelled by the same core values, personal service, attention to detail, and a deep love of what we do.

Our team has been central to every wedding, often quietly behind the scenes, keeping everything flowing while making it look effortless. From the carefully timed confetti canons to our pre-aisle pep talks, it’s the small moments that make the biggest impact.

We are honoured to see families come together, new friendships form and welcome back siblings and friends of past couples for their own day. Being the backdrop to so many special moments is something we’ll never take for granted.

And as for what’s next? With new luxury lodges launched and more developments on the horizon, we’re continuing to evolve, as always with our couples at the heart of everything we do.
